PRESS RELEASE: 18-004

spaceJUNE 14th, 2018 - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
  • The San Andreas State Government has opened up contract bidding to establish a quasi-governmental port authority to assist with the transportation of cargo to and from maritime vessels. In general, the port authority should aim to ensure the smooth operations of the docks.

Contract #002 is divided into three sections: one administrative subcontract and two labor subcontracts. The administrative subcontract intends to bring in a core group of executives to manage administrative port functions, including overseeing the two labor subcontractors. The two subcontracts are aimed at businesses that have at least 5 full and/or part-time employees whom have experience as laborers, ideally in a dockyard setting. The contract will involve maintaining and operating the Los Santos dockyards. Contractors will serve a wide range of individuals using the port (i.e. truckers, sailors etc.). The successful applicant should be aware that they will likely be working separately from Department of Transportation, however, may be required to work with them on occasion and should be committed to liaising effectively with the bureau.

LOS SANTOS PORT AUTHORITY

The terms and conditions are as follows:
  • The bidder must have a registered business in the State of San Andreas.
  • The bidder must ensure they and their employees abide by health and safety regulations and by the San Andreas Penal Code.
  • The San Andreas State Government will not be held liable for any damages incurred to the bidder or to any individual as a result of the deliverance of this contract.
  • In the event of a crime occurring, the bidder and/or their employees should inform a law enforcement agency at their earliest convenience.
  • (( The faction has a 'Contractor' rank that allows players to use several vehicles. It is expected, if given the job, no other faction vehicles are used (other than the ones specified) and the departmental radio is not used. It is simply an OOC measure to allow contractors to use restricted vehicles. ))

(( CONTRACT ADMONISHMENT )) Ocean Docks Company
Authorized By: Carl Duncan
Date: 08/21/2018
Penalty: None

Reason: Deshawn Vaughn utilized a faction vehicle that was not assigned to the contracted company nor would have had access to IC and utilized it to evade from the police. Contractor failed to follow guidelines and requiring members to read the rules prior to invitation into the faction.
