CONTRACT #003: AMBULANCE SERVICES

ANNOUNCEMENT INFORMATION


The San Andreas State Government has opened up contract bidding to establish a privatized ambulance service(s) to assist with the ever increasing calls throughout the State of San Andreas. The Los Santos Fire Department shall continue to maintain primary control over such services.

Contract #003 is targeting privatized businesses trained in emergency response to provide critical aid to the citizens of San Andreas. Businesses that apply should have over 5 full time employees properly trained in as an EMS/EMT to efficiently conduct such services. The successful applicant will report to the Bureau of State Services which will be working in conjunction with he Los Santos Fire Department to ensure services are provided efficiently and properly. Vehicles for operation will be provided by the State of San Andreas and permission will be given to the contractor to utilize emergency equipment when appropriate.

  • The terms and conditions are as follows:
    • The bidder must have a registered business in the State of San Andreas with a special license established by the Bureau of Licensing to provide medical services.
    • During the operation of such services and the contract, the bidder agrees to have a licensed Medical Doctor on staff acting as the Operational Medical Director.
    • The bidder agrees that they shall serve as an ambulance service in the State of San Andreas and shall not take priority over the Los Santos Fire Department for calls. Calls may be taken should no response be given by the Los Santos Fire Department. The Los Santos Fire Department shall hold scene control for all situations arising within the State of San Andreas.
    • The bidder must ensure they and their employees abide by health and safety regulations and by the San Andreas Penal Code.
    • The State of San Andreas shall provide the facility (if appropriate) and the vehicles to conduct such services.
    • Should the bidder win, the bidder agrees to abide by all laws and regulations established by the Department of Health and the Bureau of State Services.
    • Will be permitted to utilize emergency vehicles with working light and sirens to respond to emergency situations and will be exempt for the rules of law while utilizing such equipment so long as the operator of the vehicle is utilizing reasonable care.
    • The San Andreas State Government will not be held liable for any damages incurred to the bidder or to any individual as a result of the deliverance of this contract.
    • In the event of a crime occurring, the bidder and/or their employees should inform a law enforcement agency at their earliest convenience.
    • (( The faction has a specific ranks that allows players to use several vehicles. It is expected, if given the job, no other faction vehicles are used (other than the ones specified) and any other commands available will not be used unless expressly authorized. It is simply an OOC measure to allow contractors to use restricted vehicles. ))
    Bidding is open until August 15th, 2018. The contract officer reserves the right to close bidding at any time.

Section I – Definitions.
  1. “Contractee” or “First party” will hereinafter refer to the State of San Andreas represented by ANTHONY BROPHY.
  2. “Contractor” or “Second party” will hereinafter refer to AMERICARE, represented by ROBERT LOWE.
Section II – Terms & conditions.
  1. First party terms:
    1. Contractor is contracted to fulfill the above contract on behalf of Contractee.
    2. Contractor agrees and obliges to fulfill the contract to Contractee’s above date mentioned or until such contracted is discontinued.
    3. Contractor will notify Contractee in a timely manner, in the case of any delays of deviations from the time-frame set by Contractee.
    4. Contractor agrees to provide monthly or weekly updates in regards to contract progress.
    5. Contractor will operate as an asset of Contractee.
      1. Even though Contractor operates as an asset of Contractee, Contractee agrees to forfeit all management jurisdiction over to Contractor.
      2. Contractor agrees to provide complete financial transparency to the satisfaction of Contractee.
      3. Upon termination of this contract, section 2.1 is nullified.
  2. Second party terms:
    1. Contractee shall provide the following to Contractor:
      1. Health and dental plan for each employee of Contractor.
      2. A salary of $3100 per month for each employee of Contractor.
      3. Appropriate equipment to complete the contract.
Section III – Termination.
  1. Contractee holds the right to terminate the contract in the following scenarios:
    1. Contractor or its employee is found guilty of a felonious crime.
    2. Contractor is not abiding by the rules and regulations established by the Department of State Services.
    3. Contractor has failed repeatedly comply with section 2 of this contract.
  2. Contractor can dissolve the contract once they refund any and all subsidies, grants and salaries coming from Contractee.

Section IV – Non-Disclosure Agreement.
  1. The confidential information to be disclosed can be described as and includes:
    1. Invention description(s), technical and business information relating to proprietary ideas and inventions, ideas, patentable ideas, trade secrets, drawings and/or illustrations, patent searches, existing and/or contemplated products and services, research and development, production, costs, profit and margin information, finances and financial projections, customers, clients, marketing, and current or future business plans and models, regardless of whether such information is designated as “Confidential Information” at the time of its disclosure.
  2. Contractor agrees not to disclose any confidential information obtained, to anyone unless required to do so by law.
Section V – Acknowledgements.
  1. Upon signing this contract, Contractor establishes a legally binding agreement with Contractee.
  2. This contract states the entire agreement between the parties. Any addition or modification to this contract must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
  3. The parties acknowledge that they have read and understand this contract and voluntarily accept the duties and obligations set forth herein.
